Working with conversations in batches

You can archive, label, delete, and perform other actions on a batch of

conversations at once, in your Inbox or in another conversation list.

1 In the Inbox or other conversation list, check the conversations that you want to

work with as a batch.

2 Take an action on all the checked conversations.

There are a number of actions you can take on a batch of conversations.:

G Touch Change labels to open the Labels dialog, where you can check the

labels you want to apply to the conversations

G Touch the Mark Read, Star, Archive, or Delete button

G Touch the Menu button and touch Mark important (or Mark unim-

portant), Report spam, or Mute

Your action affects the entire batch of messages.

Check conversations to add them to the

batch.

Touch a button to act on the batch, or

touch the Menu button to act on the

batch in other ways.
